An accurate description of what it means to be a runner in the midst of training who comes down with that annoying illness. Every year I come down with a nagging cold/cough and my husband doesn’t understand why I won’t just rest… unless I’m violently ill or with a fever, I stick to the plan, tweaking mileage and workouts as needed.

Ugh re-reading this as I have Covid and am trying to navigate my return to training for a marathon that is less than 7 weeks away. 😞
