This isn’t writing on running, but it’s close. A chance to geek out about all the details leading into the Boston Marathon on April 15th.
A series of 7 virtual workshops on Wednesday evenings leading up to the race covering everything from goal setting to nutrition, course strategy to hill running form, and finally, an in-person meet-up the Saturday before the race.
Watch below to hear me talk about it…
This will be my 9th running of the race. Decades ago I ran as a charity runner, then many times as an Open runner, twice as a part of the Elite field, and now again as part of the Open field. And somehow, I still can’t get enough!
The thing that makes Boston so incredible is it’s the single day each year when tens of thousands of experienced runners come together to give their all on a tricky course. Every year seems to offer unexpected performances because there’s so much about the event that makes it difficult!
We’ll get into all of this in detail. As well as connect in a private Strava group to be in touch during the training leading up.
If you have any questions about this, just reply to this email!
Thanks!
Peter
ps - Separately, my friends at Elite Running Plans have put a Boston plan for sale based on my training from my ideal build-up in 2019. No one training plan is perfect, but this one got me well prepared that year.
